Jefferson Davis is a Toronto-based wine writer and educator. He holds a Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in the United Kingdom. Jefferson has worked as the managing editor of Wine Access Magazine and as the editor of the First In Line tasting report of LCBO releases. He has also served as a judge for the Canadian Wine Awards, International Value Wine Awards and Toronto Wine and Cheese Show, and as an educator with the WSET.
Familia Torres has been crafting albarino in the Rias Baixas DO since 2012. The majority of the grapes were sourced from the subzone Valle de Salnes, the historic heart of this wine region. Expect apple and apricot aromas and flavours buttressed by sufficient acidity and a touch of salinity on the back end. Great on its own or with shellfish. SAQ $21.55
