Jefferson Davis is a Toronto-based wine writer and educator. He holds a Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in the United Kingdom. Jefferson has worked as the managing editor of Wine Access Magazine and as the editor of the First In Line tasting report of LCBO releases. He has also served as a judge for the Canadian Wine Awards, International Value Wine Awards and Toronto Wine and Cheese Show, and as an educator with the WSET.
Sourced from three different blocks of the Malivoire Estate Vineyard, this is an inviting and well balanced gamay that will drink well through 2029. Appealing lift on the nose characterised by cherry, strawberry and herbal tea notes. These components follow through on the palate with slightly peppery hints. Well proportioned overall with good length. Winery $24.00
